How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
Hesabe provides Online Payment service to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information, pertains to shopify scope/permission of read_payment_gateways, write_payment_gateways, and write _payment_sessions, from your Shopify account.
Payment session URL
The shopify stores send the payment request to Hesabe App with generated session information. Hesabe will process the payment and informs transaction status.
Refund session URL
To process a refund, Shopify makes an HTTP call to Hesabe app, Hesabe will process the refund request.
Authorize and Capture session URL
The app process the authorize transaction and later capture the payment with a generated session.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you once you have installed the App:
1. Civil id, company registration, proof of authorised signatory and bank account number.
2. Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your mobile number and email id may be stored by Hesabe if merchant and buyer opt for tokenisation.
3. Information about the individual who visit your store and access our app for payment, such as IP address and web browser details.
We do not use cookies
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information that are collected from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App;
We do not share any personal information collected with any third parties
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Collected buyer information will not be used in anyway other than above mentioned purposes.
Data Retention: - when you process payment through our app, we save your payment information (NOT card related data) will be retained for a year or as applicable by law.
Changes: - We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
